Abstract

So me ideas from the German philosopher Jürgen Habermas are developed in the article “Science and Technique as an ‘ideology’”. Habermas’s text analyzes the role that technique and sciences have been playing in modern society: the process of a new and different way of reasoning. It also analyses the mutation of science and technique into ideological forms and its materialization in a dominating relation. Besides, the general exposition of Habermas’s text introduces the reader into the meaning that digital and virtual technology has and the problem that this philosopher presents.
