Metaphysics, post-metaphysics and culture

Abstract

This paper analizes and develops the following problems: How does the crisis of metaphysics has affected culture? Is it posible, or desirable, to socially or culturally live with no metaphysics at all? The following statement contains the main thesis: Cultural and spiritual poverty of modern man —with huge aftermaths in social life— is directly related to the ruling postmetaphysical conception. As an alternative, we don’t propose to go back to the classical metaphysical thought but to state a new metaphysical experience able to be manifest in social and cultural life.
