Abstract

The articulation of this paper is based on the main points of the so-called vitalism in María Zambrano. Her philosophy of life is formed after some key ideas, such as: the idea of Generation from a historic and philosophic view; the idea of History, which meaning acquires a specific dimension in her philosophy, since the historic element is crossed by life it self; the idea of Man unfolding a specific philosophic al anthropology. The idea of Time is of use to link the concepts of History and freedom, both as involving abstractions of the specific human existence becoming specific in María Zambrano’s thought. Inside this human existence there are the ideas of Individual and Person as anthropological concepts that report the human being characteristics in its singularity, as well as in its relationship with others, and in its association in its institutionalized forms, and coexistence and election practices.
