To have a cure of the world
Paths of the contemporary thought between Heidegger and Gaos
Keywords:
cure, José Gaos, HeideggerAbstract
Taking as a depart the description of the phases of Jose Gaos’ thinking and to pint out his relationship with Heidegger’s analysis of “be-there”. The essay proposes more than a simple comparing with the Hispanic philosophy with the German; it makes a distinction of the peculiarities of the gaosian conception of motion and “the cure”. The text is divided in two parts, the first part talks about some aspects of Gaos’ thinking about man and philosophy. Meanwhile in the second it makes a review from Heidegger’s point of view about the cure and the concept of “nothing”, which guide us to the conclusion that Jose Gaos’ work does not rescue denial, instead it makes sure that a definitive solution in existence never takes place in “the living of men”.
