Abstract

The paper we present, was part (the theoretical part) of the welcome speech the author gave at the third meeting dedicated to translation of Husserl and Heidegger into Russian which was held in St. Petersburg in June 1998. It deals with the problem of intercultural “translations” and relationships which generally appear as background to the quasi-technical problem of idiomatic translation, which justifies its inclusion in the dossier of this issue of Devenires.
