In the first place, the purpose of this contribution is to demonstrate the great influence of the Spanish writers of ‘The Generation of ‘98’ in the work of Jose Ortega y Gasset and indicate the concepts appeared in the context of Ortega’s relation. Secondly, the paper refers to the relation between Ortega and Unamuno; and finally, the relation between Ortega, Pio Baroja and Azorin, in the third and four place since the discussion of their work forges the basic elements to understand his philosophy.
