Heritage Dossier: conceptual reflections and alternative views
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the last quarter of the 20th century and the first years of the 21st there was an accelerated conceptual change in the field of heritage study. From that moment on, a typology was established that gave rise to what is currently characterized as: cultural, natural, material, immaterial, tangible, intangible and other related terms. Based on the conventions of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), a way of conceiving, delimiting and managing heritage in its various meanings would begin to be institutionalized. Derived from these documents, the way in which it would be identified and classified in the world was disseminated; and, therefore, what would be the object of such recognition.
