Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the elements pertaining to the sublime horror in the videoga- me Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that are shown within its death ecology, based on its cultural core. Said videogame presents concepts of a philosophical-religious nature, closely related to the Japanese mythical imaginary in a very subtle way in the videogame format, making them readily accessible to the mass culture due to its immediate and easy-access format.
