Keywords:
genealogy, phenomenology, imageAbstract
Within the limits that define the relations between subjectivity and reality, one of the historically most vague, imprecise and ambiguous, but at the same time most enigmatic and crucial, concepts appears, whose relevance encompasses all the theoretical fields of reflection and whose nature is closely linked to the conceptions of reality and the conditions that make the unity of its experience possible. We are talking about the "image". Throughout history, we have been aware of the importance of this concept. Its complexity and radically problematic character highlight the serious difficulties we have to face when considering its origin and its limits.
