“El sonido como peculiar reino de la vida” is the Spanish translation of the article: “Збукъ, какъ особое царство бытия” by Nicolay Lossky (1870-1965), philosopher considered the representative thinker of Intuitionism in Russia, and pioneer of Personalism in Europe. This article was the unique work that the philosopher dedicated to the musical art, published in the journal Мелосъ in 1917. This article, that draws the basic elements of the intellectual intuition in hearing perception, was not including in the memoirs of Lossky, neither in his History of Russian Philosophy (1951). In this work of 1917, Nicolay Lossky defines the musical art as an enrichment of the world by new sounds, and new means to penetrate the spiritual sphere of human been.
