Abstract

Reading books like Minima Moralia or Negative Dialectics can easily become a frustrating experience. Hence, this paper intends to explain why Adorno seems to resist intelligibility and communicability. The reasons are epistemological and ontological but, above all, obey the demands of a form of thinking that seeks to be understood as a type of radical critique. Through an ongoing linguistic exercise, Adorno attempts to attain a radically-different way of thinking that sets out to imagine a world in which “differents” can co-exist peacefully and in harmony.

Es profesor e investigador en la Facultad de Filosofía “Dr. Samuel Ramos Magaña” de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, en Morelia, Michoacán, México. Actualmente es profesor invitado en la Universidad Vechta, en Alemania. Es doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad Libre de Berlín, y doctor en Humanidades (con especialidad en Filosofía Política) por la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Iztapalapa. Es Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (sni) nivel iii; Investigador-clacso (desde 2016); Edmundo O’Gorman Fellow (Columbia University, Nueva York 2015).
