The Economic and Social Council of Michoacán as an experience of social dialogue and citizen participation

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the scope of an organization for social dialogue located in Michoacán, Mexico, such as the Economic and Social Council. The Economic and Social Councils have historically been assumed as spaces for government consultation and seek to influence socioeconomic development through recommendations and opinions. In short, it seeks to know if its relevant or not, the state experience of an organization of citizen participation and social dialogue.
