Abstract

During the dirty war in Mexico, victims and groups of relatives of the disappeared adopted different repertoires of action to denounce forced disappearance and other repressive measures forced disappearance and other repressive practices of the State. In this process, these actors tried to register the case of Mexico within the framework of the agenda for the defense of human rights in Latin America. The violence used by the Mexican regime was not condemned by the international community. This article intends to examine some important moments of this transnational important moments of this transnational activism of Mexican actors and understand the scope and the scope and limits they faced in these attempts. Methodologically, this research uses different sources produced by Mexican actors and groups, reports and campaigns carried out by international organizations and documents international organizations and documents from the Mexican intelligence services.
