Indigenous cinema and critical pedagogy: didactic tool for training in the classroom
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this work is to investigate and justify the theoretical and practical support of the workshop "The summer cinema", created expressly for primary school children in the indigenous community of Santa Fe de la Laguna, in the State of Michoacán. For this purpose, it will be of paramount importance to answer essential questions: how, why and what is the point of incorporating cinematographic content into schooling systems? What methodologies and didactic approaches does a way of teaching require that is supported by critical pedagogy? And, how is critical reflection manifested in schooling scenarios? To support the above, we will develop the following sections. 1. Pedagogical orientation of the cinema made by indigenous p'urhépecha and its theoretical support. 2. There will be reflection on cinema as a cognitive and didactic resource. 3. The implementation of the workshop and the results obtained will be analyzed. 4. We will expose the final reflections.
