Abstract
Las reseñas cumplen con la función de incentivar una lectura que se considera apetecible y enriquecedora en un área determinada de saber. Como reseñista uno puede escoger enfatizar tal o cual cosa, porque, así como cualquier otro lector, su mirada se posa sobre ciertos aspectos que le causan la mejor impresión. En este caso, me tomaré cierta libertad al hacer este ejercicio porque me interesa resaltar no el contenido sobre las revistas que fueron publicadas entre mediados de la década de 1920 y 1930 en América Latina y España, a saber, La Antorcha, Amauta, Atuei, Indoamérica, Bolívar y Octubre.
