Abstract
The main purpose of the following lines is to explain the historiographic relevance of this specialized dossier on the comparable experiences of three Latin American countries in the
second half of the 20th century, as well as to provide guidance regarding the real possibilities of comparative study for a greater number of countries. belonging to this historical-political
subregion.
