Abstract

This essay exhaustively presents an analysis about the first ideas on political phi1osophy as well as in the West general history. The author focuses his study over three Greek thinkers of the V century B.C. (Protagoras, Tucidide, Democritus). The essay shows the social and political conditions of the classical Greece and the way they were presented in the philosophical thoughts. The essay also considers the political effects of the philosophical rationality and the sophistic discovery of the individual life in front of the demands of the normative communitarian order. And, from this stand point, the grand topic of the classical political philosophy: the question on what is the best way of organization of the communitarian life.
