Philosophical faith and revealed faith

Abstract

To develop this ropic, still when we will refer several Jaspers’ books, we will study with detail his work: Philosophical faith against the revelation (Der philosophische Glaube angeisichts der Offenbarung, 1962). Sense and modal about the relation that we study on this text becoming explicit in Jaspers when we see that the expression “against the”, in one way, exclude that we can put ourselves in a superior point of view that determines the relation between both ways of “faith” but, in another way, it shows an opposition that refers about the present-day situation, but it doesn’t affect for a positive, possible and future encounter. Jaspers is located into philosophical faith aspect, nevertheless he is also interested in the other “faith” and he tries to think about those things that could help such encounter.
