Ontology unificated in Leibniz
Beyond the substancialism and phenomenalism
Keywords:
Leibniz, ontology, phenomenon, realityAbstract
Leibniz distinguishes two ontological levels: ‘phenomenon’ and ‘reality’. The thesis defends to comprehend the truly meaning of what is real, Leibniz opens an alternative option to both ontologies: substancial and phenomenon. It is about and elaborated ontology around the concepts of monad (independence, activity, unity) and notio completa (individuality, freedom). The fundamental dimensions of this ontology are the vitalism and the functionalism. The functionalism itself developes in a level of phenomenon and the vitalism has his own atmosphere as it has in the level of phenomenon and reality. The first dimension represents Leibniz’s calculemus, meanwhile the second is Leibniz’s vital principle. The conjuction of both establishes one ontology of the sistematic individuality.
