Critic to the place of conviction in the practical wisdom of Paul Ricouer

Abstract

This study shows to what extent the conviction of the self about the good and the just in the practical philosophy of Paul Ricoeur occupies a rather discreet place, contrary to what the ninth study of Sí mismo como otro (One self as another). Once the evidence on the diminished place of conviction in practical wisdom is shown, we proceed to state that the conviction about the good and the just occupies a very prominent place in the moral judgment in situation because it accompanies the reflection and discussion about the good and the just from the beginning to the end. A movement in which the conviction itself is very enriched, becoming a starting point for subsequent decisions and discussions.
