RECEPTION AND EVALUATION OF WORK

To receive manuscripts, documents written in English or Spanish are accepted. EVALUATION BY THE REFEREE COMMITTEE

All submitted works will be subject to rigorous evaluation by the Arbitration Committee, which is made up of referees specialized in the field. The magazine reserves the right to accept, reject or request modifications to the submitted works. The Arbitration Committee is made up of members of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT), as well as expert researchers in the area, belonging to nationally and internationally recognized research institutions.

Each work will be submitted to a double-blind arbitration process, in which at least two evaluators will review the work independently. The evaluators will indicate in their opinion whether the article is accepted in its current form, if it requires modifications or if it should be rejected. In case of discrepancies between the evaluators, a third evaluator will be used whose opinion will be final.

COMMUNICATION OF RESULTS AND MODIFICATIONS

The editor of the journal will inform the authors about the result of the arbitration through an "Opinion Form". If the work is accepted with the need for modifications, the author is expected to make said modifications within a maximum period of 20 calendar or ordinary days from the date of receipt of the opinion by the editor. The author must resubmit the article in electronic format, along with a response file that explains in detail the modifications made, taking into account the observations provided by the evaluators. This file must include the comments of the evaluators and the actions taken by the author.

If the author does not comply with the 20-day period to make the modifications, the article will not be considered for publication in the next issue of the journal. The editor will keep authors informed about the progress of their work in the review process, whether regarding its acceptance, rejection or the date of publication.

REVIEW OF STYLE AND FORM

Once an article is accepted, it will undergo additional style and formatting review for its final version. Print proofs in PDF format will be sent to the corresponding author, and these proofs are expected to be returned to the publisher within a maximum of five calendar or ordinary days after receipt. If the proofs are not delivered on time, the article will be published without the corresponding corrections.

The journal reserves the right to advance or postpone the publication of accepted articles in order to guarantee the best structure of each issue in accordance with its editorial policy.
